Throughout the ages, there have always been groups that were poised to share the highest secrets of humanity and of the higher worlds with those who were chosen to receive them. These secrets, which were often passed along by word of mouth or by heart-to-heart transmission, were later only dimly remembered or were completely forgotten and lost to humanity as the ages passed.

The insight and wisdom that was shared by these groups was constructed to usher truly faithful recipients into what can only be described as the knowledge of God, and to inspire them to take significant responsibility for their own spiritual evolution as well as that of the human race in general. Many of these groups existed as mystery schools and were largely kept secret from the outside society. The Way of Truth is such a school, but the times no longer require that these ageless truths be presented in secrecy.

The Way of Truth was established by Sri Michael Owens to guide seekers beyond that which is known as Self-Realization on to God-Realization, and ultimately to God-Absorption. There are many paths that lead to Self-Realization and God-Realization, including Avatar, Buddhism, Christianity, Christian Science, Kirpal Singh, Mohammedism, Sufism, Theosophy, The White Brotherhood, and others. However, God-Realization, followed by God-Absorption, is the principal goal of those who study with the Masters of The Way of Truth.
